How do you pass the time during a flight? What do you bring in your carry-on?
i sleep. air travel is like lunesta to me. i always have a book, a magazine or two and my laptop but the only thing i use is (non-iPod) my mp3 player to drown out the noise while i doze. there is something about being the air that puts me in a sleep coma. sometimes i'm in a deep slumber before liftoff. i think my behavior stems from being shuttled on planes growing up between (and within) florida and texas and learning to ignore everything around me during a flight.
